My Story

On Friday 1 October 2021, a group of us will be taking part in Glass Door Homeless Charity's Sleep Out by sleeping out for a night under the stars in St Peter's Church garden in Hammersmith.

It's the second time I've taken part in the annual sleep out, and I can assure you it gets pretty cold overnight, and quite possibly wet and drizzly too - last year's sleep out turned out to be the wettest night of the year! We'll have the usual neighbourhood cats and foxes to keep us company, as well as each other!

The serious business is to raise money for the amazing work of Glass Door. Glass Door provides safe shelter, food and advice to people affected by homelessness across London. During the pandemic, it was one of the few homeless services that remained opened and helped hundreds of people find routes out of homelessness.

It's a fantastic charity that does great and important work, and the more we can raise for them the better! Please sponsor me as generously as you can - or better still sign up and join us!
