My Story

On Friday 1 October 2021, I will be taking part in Glass Door Homeless Charity's Sleep Out. I will be giving up my bed for the night to raise awareness of homelessness and funds for Glass Door's life-saving work.

Glass Door provides safe shelter, food and advice to people affected by homelessness. During the pandemic, it was one of the few homeless services that remained opened and helped hundreds of people find routes out of homelessness.

I'm raising money for Glass Door because I know they are doing good work to support those in our community who are at an absolute crisis point. Glass Door welcomes everyone as their guest, providing some much-needed stability before helping them make the necessary steps to move beyond homelessness.
